The successful candidate:

The Buffet Line Attendant / Pizza Cook is responsible for preparing and presenting food on the buffet line, maintaining food quality and cleanliness, making pizzas, and providing friendly service to guests. This role ensures that all buffet items are well-stocked, properly labeled, and visually appealing while also supporting kitchen operations as needed.

Key Responsibilities:

• Buffet Setup & Maintenance
  • Set up the buffet line with fresh, properly prepared food items.
  • Monitor food levels and restock items throughout the shift.
  • Ensure buffet pans, utensils, and stations are clean, organized, and maintained at proper temperature.
  • Remove and replace items that no longer meet quality standards.
• Food Preparation & Pizza Making
  • Prepare pizzas for lunch hours.
  • Operate pizza ovens and maintain proper cooking times and temperatures.
  • Assist with general food prep including chopping, portioning, and assembling ingredients.
  • Follow all food handling and safety procedures.
• Customer Service
  • Greet and assist guests at the buffet line.
  • Answer questions about menu items and ingredients.
  • Serve food items when necessary and ensure guests have a positive dining experience.
• Cleaning & Safety
  • Maintain a clean and sanitary work environment at all times.
  • Follow health department regulations, including proper food storage and temperature control.
  • Clean buffet equipment, counters, and surrounding areas at the end of each shift.
