Material Review Board Field Technician (Day Shift)

Tesla is seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Field MRB (Material Review Board) Technician tosupport Field Return and Remanufacturing operations at Gigafactory New York. In this role, you willserve as the primary point of contact for GFNY MRB activities, ensuring that Vehicle and Energycomponents returning from Service Centers are processed accurately, efficiently, and in alignment withoperational and quality standards. The ideal candidate is proactive, adaptable, and comfortableoperating in a fast-paced environment. You should be able to identify process gaps, implementimprovements, and escalate issues that require cross-functional alignment or leadership support. Yourefforts will directly contribute to material accuracy and improve feedback loops.

Shift: 7am-7pm; Thursday-Saturday; every other Wednesday

• Serve as the on-site MRB representative for Field Return material flowing into GFNY
• Collaborate closely with Service, Production Control, Logistics, Quality, and Reman teams tomaintain a smooth and efficient returns workflow
• Identify, document, and process nonconforming material, ensuring accurate classification andtimely disposition within MRB systems
• Maintain data integrity and traceability for all inbound and outbound MRB transactions
• Identify opportunities for process improvement, standardization and support implementation ofcorrective actions
• Communicate and escalate workflow issues, blockers, or system gaps to leadership promptly toensure timely resolution
• Support audits, inventory accuracy initiatives, root-cause investigations, and quality escalationsrelated to Field Returns

• Experience as an MRB Technician, Quality Technician, Material Specialist, or similar role inmanufacturing, production, logistics, or service environment

• Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to document findings clearly andcollaborate across teams

• Proven problem-solving capabilities and comfort working with anomalies, edge cases, and high-volume return operations

• High attention to detail, with the ability to work independently and manage priorities in a fast-paced environment

• Strong organizational skills and a commitment to supporting a collaborative, team-orientedculture

• Familiarity with Tesla systems (Warp, SCA, MRB tools) is a plus but not required

• Quality Technician I - $25.88 - $28.80/hour
• Quality Technician II - $30.46 - $33.67/hour
• Quality Technician III - $33.09 - $38.46/hour

Pay offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, including market location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. The total compensation package for this position may also include other elements dependent on the position offered.
