| Posting Summary |
We have immediate availability for a non tenure track Research Associate position in experimental condensed matter physics at Rutgers University. Our group (led by Prof. Vitaly Podzorov) is involved in Organic Electronics, Physics and Photophysics of Organic Semiconductors, as well as Hybrid and Flexible Electronics research. The applicant should possess strong experimental skills in growth and characterization of organic semiconductors (especially highly ordered small-molecule single crystals). He/she is expected to participate in material synthesis by vapor growth and thin-film deposition, characterization of crystals and their surfaces, device fabrication (OFETs, photo-transistors and diodes), characterization of devices via spectroscopic measurements (including Raman, PL, photoconductivity), charge transport measurements (including at low temperatures) and be able to perform data acquisition and analysis (by using LabView and Origin). Surface analytical skills are also desirable (
AFM,
SEM,
UPS, ion scattering, etc).
Interested candidates should submit their curriculum vitae and a bibliography of publications, listing only those articles to which the candidate has made significant contributions. The candidate should also arrange for at least three reference letters, which will be collected via the Rutgers
