What to Expect
GFTX HV Battery seeks a motivated Maintenance Planner/Scheduler to support new lines and expansions. This role expedites work orders by enhancing technician efficiency through planning, scheduling, root-cause scoping, and resource identification (labor, materials, tools, equipment, sequences). You'll manage PM programs, track progress, report KPIs, and handle administrative tasks like consumables and critical item logistics to minimize downtime in HV battery manufacturing.

What You'll Do
  • CMMS and Equipment Management: Input new equipment into CMMS; lead equipment numbering; own edits to PM schedules, procedures, and statuses

  • Reliability and Support: Assist breakdowns with coordination, MTTR tracking; drive reliability via data analysis, simulations, improvements; coordinate training and vendor support

  • Performance and Reporting: Compare actual vs. planned outcomes; develop/manage KPIs for improvements; build/visualize reports and present to teams

  • Backlog and Inventory: Manage backlogs, aging, and communications; maintain parts catalogs, history, min/max levels; support spares warehouse on kits, critical items, and logistics; oversee shop consumables

  • Scheduling and Coordination: Develop/monitor schedules; coordinate with maintenance, production, vendors; communicate updates, delays, and changes; plan shutdowns with metrics (work, headcount, cost, safety)

  • Planned Work Optimization: Boost planned activities via Pareto analysis and history reviews; create job packages with BOMs, pick lists, and kits; maintain secure kitting areas

  • Preventive Maintenance (PM): Maintain PM integrity (checklists, frequencies, compliance); load-level and review effectiveness; develop strategies (condition- vs. time-based, repair/replace); adjust frequencies; prioritize workloads and create job standards

  • Work Order Planning: Review/evaluate requests; assign to backlog; define scope, instructions, spares, tools, time, and root-cause solutions for safe, efficient execution


What You'll Bring
  • 2+ years in maintenance planning, or Associate's Degree in Industrial/Mechanical/Electrical Technology with 3+ years in industrial equipment, automation, automotive, military tech, or equivalent experience
  • Technical Skills: Advanced automation equipment experience; proficient in PowerPoint, Excel, Word; presentation skills. Siemens PLC, Fanuc/KUKA robots a plus
  • Strong organization/communication; willing to work shifts/overtime
