Quality Intern

Program Description:

TTM offers summer internships to qualified Quality Engineering students looking to gain professional

experience in the field of Quality and Data Analytics in a manufacturing environment. Internships help

build your professional credentials by providing meaningful, practical, on-the-job training and

experiences.

Opportunities exist throughout TTM and are available to students who are motivated to learn and grow.

You will get a chance to contribute your best ideas and work in an environment that inspires innovative

results. Students in our internship program provide tremendous value to our organization through

increased productivity, introduction of innovative, fresh ideas and talent, and often become reliable and

skilled permanent employees.

The TTM Internship Program is geared toward conscientious students who are entering into their final

year of their Diploma or Degree program. It is a stimulating and rewarding experience, helping the

student make the transition from school to work and career while motivating the student for a potential

manufacturing, engineering and technology future. Participating in one of our internships is also

invaluable in establishing a network within the company.

Program Outline:

* Internship is project based, deliverable within the summer period of May to August 2022

* Interns are assigned a manager/champion to help guide and serve as a resource

* Interns will present opening, mid-review, and closing presentations to the site and regional

leadership team

* Offers opportunities for professional, career, and leadership development

* Successful program completion may lead to an early employment offer upon graduation

Duties and Responsibilities:

* Analyze Return Material Authorizations (RMAs) process for exposed copper and routing areas

to recommend efficiency improvements

* Creating and implementing action plan to reduce RMAs * Panel remake analysis with the goal of reducing number of reworked panels

* 6S optimization of RMA area and organize returned boards for visual identification of disposition

Essential Knowledge & Skills:

* Knowledge of PCBs, common PCBs defects, IPC-600,6S

* Experience with Minitab, big data/operational analytics, flowcharting software

* Self-motivated, good communicator and capable of working independently while handling

fluctuating workloads with strong organizational and problem solving skills

* Proficiency with MS Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint, Project)

* Prepared to work in an environment with a steep learning curve

* Must be comfortable working in a manufacturing environment (heat/humid, dust, noise,

vibration, and hazardous chemicals exposure)

Education and Experience

* Must be pursuing a Diploma/Certificate/Degree in Engineering (preferred Industrial/Systems Engineering) or equivalent and returning to final year/semester of studies in September 2026

with an expected graduation in 2026/2027

Compensation and Benefits:

Benefits are available 1st of the month following date of hire.

Compensation for roles at TTM Technologies varies depending on a wide array of factors including but not limited to the specific office location, role, skill set and level of experience. As required by local law, TTM provides a reasonable range of compensation for roles that my be hired in New York, California and Colorado. For California-based roles, compensation ranges are based upon specific physical locations.

Must comply with TTM Export Control Policies and Procedures and all applicable laws including ITAR, EAR and OFAC including but not limited to: a) being able to identify ITAR product on the manufacturing floor and understand that access to these products and related technical data is restricted to only US Citizens and US Permanent Residents; b) recognition ofForeign Person visitors by badge differentiation; c) understand and follow authorization procedures for bringing foreign visitors into facilities (VAL); d) understand the Export and ITAR requirements for shipments leaving the US; e) manage vendor approvals for ITAR manufacturing and services.
