Engineering Technician - Temp to Hire Location: Milpitas, CA \| Pay: Up to $30/hr Purpose: Support engineering services in hardware and software design and development (non-production). Key Responsibilities: Perform complex tests, troubleshoot, and isolate malfunctions. Analyze test results and implement solutions. Fabricate, assemble, and test mechanical components and assemblies. Maintain software, documentation, and equipment. Assist engineers in hardware/software development and testing. Train technicians and operators on products, processes, and equipment. May support customer presentations, third-party projects, and documentation. Qualifications: Associate degree, military training, vocational training, or equivalent experience. Typically 6+ years of relevant experience. Advanced technical skills; able to lead, train, and apply new technologies. Strong problem-solving, analytical, and math skills. The base pay range above represents the low and high end of the base compensation range we reasonably expect to pay for this position. Actual base compensation will vary and may be above or below the range based on various factors including, but not limited to, geographic location, actual experience, and job performance.
