We're looking for a motivated professional to support the Solid Waste Director and ensure our scale operations and customer service functions meet the highest standards. If you enjoy working with people, numbers, and systems-and want a position where every day brings something new-this is the role for you! Schedule: 7am - 4pm, Monday - Friday (and every other Saturday) Pay: $15/hr. As part of our team, you'll be at the front line of service, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and smooth daily operations. Your responsibilities will include: Operating inbound and outbound computerized truck scales to weigh vehicles and track waste or recyclables Collecting and recording tipping fees, balancing daily totals, and preparing reports and deposits Verifying transactions, maintaining accurate records, and preparing daily, monthly, and special reports Providing top-notch customer service to residents, commercial customers, and internal staff Handling clerical duties such as filing, data entry, correspondence, and general office support Responding to inquiries, concerns, and dispatch requests with professionalism and accuracy Supporting compliance with South Carolina Department of Health and Environmental Control regulations Helping maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming work environment Qualifications: Must have six months of CSR (customer service) Basic math skills We offer medical, dental, and vision insurance, 401k options, life and disability insurance, weekly pay, employee discount programs, referral bonus potential, unmatched professional development, and more!
