The Lean Manufacturing Project Manager position is ready for you to make your mark in Acton, MA.


Work Arrangement:




  • Fully onsite, five days per week





Schedule:




  • Generally Monday-Friday, 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM
  • Flexible shift options available (for example, 7:00 AM-3:00 PM or 8:00 AM-4:00 PM)



Pay: Up to $70.13/hr


Daily Duties:




  • Develop, implement, and control standard work for all departments.
  • Deliver manufacturing enhancements that reduce costs, improve overall equipment effectiveness, increase diligence, and boost capacity.
  • Lead Kaizen events and drive continuous improvement activities.
  • Use value stream mapping to improve the movement of materials and information.
  • Manage projects and solve problems using lean Six Sigma tools such as Define, Measure, Analyze, Improve, and Control (DMAIC), Kaizen, Plan, Do, Check, Act (PDCA), and the 5S and 6S methods.
  • Report all continuous improvement efforts on a daily, weekly, and monthly basis.
  • Recommend layout, safety, and equipment upgrades for enhancements.
  • Ensure compliance with all rules, regulations, policies, and procedures.
  • Mentor and coach employees, increasing the number of Green Belt certified team members.
  • Plan and budget continuous improvement projects without interrupting plant goals.
  • Stay current with processes across multiple departments.
  • Collaborate with department heads to identify needs and opportunities.
  • Adjust work schedule as needed to support off shifts.

Requirements:



  • Bachelor's degree in engineering or a related technical field.
  • At least 3 years of experience in project management within a technical discipline.
  • Knowledge of United States and international medical device and drug delivery regulations.
  • Familiarity with product development lifecycles for both software and disposable products.
  • Proficiency in project management, planning, and organization.
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office products, including Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Project.
  • Proficient understanding of medical device regulations such as International Organization for Standardization (ISO) 13485, ISO 14971, International Electrotechnical Commission (IEC) 62304, and Code of Federal Regulations (CFR) Title 21 Part 820.30 (Design Controls).
  • Green Belt Certification.
