Technical Repair Coordinator

Technical Repair Coordinator - Baton Rouge, LA

Day Shift: M-F 730 AM - 5:00 PM | Pay: $28-30/hr.

Join our team as a Technical Repair Coordinator and act as the critical link between customers, sales, vendors, engineering, and production. In this role, you'll coordinate repair projects, generate cost estimates, and ensure repairs are completed accurately, on time, and to customer specifications.

Key Responsibilities

• Serve as the primary point of contact for customers regarding technical and commercial aspects of repairs
• Create and coordinate work instructions for disassembly, inspection, repair, and assembly
• Generate cost estimates for labor, materials, and outsourced services
• Collaborate with vendors to obtain pricing, lead times, and resolve technical issues
• Prepare inspection reports, repair quotations, and as-built documentation packages
• Track order progress, update internal WIP tools, and ensure on-time delivery
• Manage order-specific materials, procure parts/services, and coordinate shipping as needed
• Support inventory management and reconciliation of materials and production data

Qualifications & Skills

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering preferred, or equivalent experience
• Experience in a service center, production control, or manufacturing environment (rotating equipment a plus)
• Strong organizational, analytical, and multi-tasking skills
• Excellent communication, diplomacy, and customer service skills
• Proficient in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel, Word) and PDF tools (Adobe/Nuance); SAP experience preferred
• Knowledge of manufacturing and repair processes for pumps or related equipment
