These applications will integrate Generative AI (GenAI) capabilities with the full Adobe Experience Cloud UI. This role plays a key part in crafting the next generation of digital experience tools for enterprise marketers. It transforms the practitioner's creative ideas into successful outcomes at scale and with high quality. As a senior leader, you will set the technical vision, support engineering teams, and promote innovation in user-centered experiences. You will operate where advanced UI engineering, system architecture, and GenAI integration converge, ensuring our solutions remain innovative, efficient, secure, and engaging for enterprise customers.
What You'll Do
- Architect and lead the build of complex, scalable UI systems and frameworks for the Adobe Experience Cloud's GenAI UI division.
- Define technical vision and standards for front-end development, ensuring consistency, accessibility, and performance across products.
- Drive end-to-end delivery of high-impact features, prototypes, and workflows that streamline enterprise creative processes.
- Partner with Product, UX, and AI/ML teams to translate business requirements and GenAI capabilities into elegant, interactive solutions.
- Evaluate new technologies (e.g., A2A protocol, WebGPU, WASM, advanced rendering pipelines) and integrate them into production systems.
- Champion engineering excellence through code reviews, architectural mentorship, and guidelines in testing, security, and performance optimization.
- Act as a technical advisor and mentor, encouraging growth within the engineering organization and influencing cross-functional strategy.
- Engage with enterprise customers and partners to understand and actually solve real difficulties, validate solutions, and ensure measurable impact.
What You Need to Succeed
- 15+ years of experience building and scaling interactive web applications and UI frameworks.
- Proven track record of technical leadership in large-scale, complex projects with distributed teams.
- Deep expertise in modern front-end technologies and development tools: TypeScript/JavaScript, ReactJS, Web Components, state management, and build pipelines, security, the works. You will be the goto for deep expertise.
- Strong architectural experience with building systems, component libraries, and performance-critical UI. You collaborate with others to find the right solution for the right context.
- Solid understanding of server-side integration patterns with any protocol.
- Experience with writing tests before coding and CI/CD pipelines for enterprise-grade applications.
- Outstanding communication and influence skills-able to align and persuade collaborators and drive consensus on technical direction. High emotional intelligence. You aren't afraid to say no.
Bonus Qualifications
- Hands-on experience with AI/ML, especially generative models and LLMs.
- Knowledge of advanced web technologies: WebGPU, WASM, canvas rendering, and a major bonus for practical experience having shipped a Web UI with real-time collaboration patterns.
- Skilled in security, scalability, and improving performance within enterprise environments. A sense of humor is required.
- Familiarity with design systems and working closely with UX teams.
This version elevates the role from "senior engineer" to strategic technical leader, highlighting:
- Architecture and vision over implementation details.
- Mentorship and influence as core responsibilities.
- Advanced technologies and forward-looking innovation.
- Strong focus on enterprise scale and GenAI integration.
