Job Description




As a Security Officer - Patrol Driver - Manufacturing in Indianapolis, IN, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Manufacturing & Industrial, and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Security Officer at a prominent manufacturing and industrial location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, helping to deter security-related incidents while delivering outstanding customer service. Your visible presence and routine patrols contribute to a secure environment for everyone onsite. This position involves driving responsibilities. What You'll Do:

  • Provide customer service to our clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies and/or, when appropriate, emergency response activities.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols around the manufacturing and industrial location and its perimeter, helping to deter unwanted activity and identify potential issues.
  • Observe and report any unusual activities or security-related concerns to Allied Universal and site management.
  • Assist visitors, employees, and contractors by answering questions and providing guidance in accordance with site policies.
  • Work closely with Allied Universal team members and client representatives to address security-related needs within the manufacturing and industrial environment.
  • Document observations and incidents as required by Allied Universal and site procedures.

Minimum Requirements:

  • A valid driver's license is required in the state where the job is located.
  • At least one year of security-related experience is required.
  • Applicants must be at least 21 years of age.
  • CPR and First Aid certification is preferred.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
