As a Security Officer - Aero/Defense Dispatch Specialist in Savannah, GA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Aero/Defense, and more. As a Dispatch Officer with Allied Universal at an aeronautics and defense location, you will play a key role in monitoring and coordinating security-related operations. Your responsibilities will include overseeing access control, managing communication channels, and working closely with team members to help to deter incidents while supporting daily operations. What You'll Do:

• Monitor and operate communication systems to dispatch security-related personnel and resources as needed across the location.
• Receive, evaluate, and coordinate responses to incidents, alarms, and emergency situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
• Maintain detailed logs of all calls, incidents, and activities handled during the shift.
• Communicate with on-site security-related personnel, management, and local authorities as required.
• Assist with the implementation of site-specific policies and procedures related to security-related operations within an aerospace and defense environment.
• Provide customer service to clients and visitors by addressing inquiries and facilitating access protocols as appropriate.
• Support regular and random patrols by coordinating movement and tracking the status of security-related teams throughout the business and perimeter.
• Participate in training sessions and emergency response drills to remain prepared for various scenarios at the location.

Minimum Requirements:

• Applicants must have at least one year of law enforcement experience or at least two years of security supervisor or manager experience or at least three years of security-related experience.
• Proof of a high school diploma or GED is required by the client.
• Applicants must be at least 21 years of age.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Experience with access control or badge systems is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
