As a Security Professional - Mall Patrol Rounds in Chicago, IL, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Retail/Malls, and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal, you will monitor and patrol retail and mall locations, helping to deter security-related incidents while providing a visible presence to enhance peace of mind for visitors and staff. You will conduct routine patrols, respond to incidents, and deliver outstanding customer service, all while upholding our values of agility, reliability, and teamwork. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations throughout the retail or mall location in a calm, problem-solving manner.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the retail location and its perimeter to help to deter inappropriate activity and identify potential concerns.
• Observe and report on security-related matters, conditions, and activities to management and/or law enforcement as needed.
• Assist visitors, tenants, and staff with directions and general inquiries within the location.
• Support Allied Universal operations by following all post orders and directives specific to the retail or mall environment.

Minimum Requirements:

• At least six months of security-related experience is required.
• The ability to lift more than 20 pounds is preferred.
• Being comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• The ability to lift up to 20 pounds is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
