As a Security Officer - Logistics Patrol Access in Canal Winchester, OH, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Logistics & Distribution, and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal in a logistics and distribution location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas to help to deter security-related incidents and maintain a positive environment. Your presence and routine patrols contribute to maintaining order while delivering exceptional customer service and clear communication. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, adhering to site-specific policies, and responding to emergency situations as appropriate.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established protocols.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the facility and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify potential concerns. Working environments and conditions may vary by location, depending on the needs of the logistics and distribution setting.
• Maintain detailed and accurate records of patrols, observations, and any incidents that occur during the shift.
• Communicate professionally and promptly with site personnel, visitors, and Allied Universal supervisors regarding security-related matters.
• Support access control measures by monitoring entry and exit points to help to deter unauthorized access within the logistics and distribution environment.
• Remain alert to changes in the environment and report any unusual circumstances or security-related issues as they arise.

Minimum Requirements:

• Access control or badge experience is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
