As a Security Professional - Resort Patrol in Yorktown, VA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Hotels & Resorts, and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal at a distinguished hotel or resort location, you will monitor assigned areas and conduct routine patrols to help deter security-related incidents. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients, guests, and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies at the location.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following Allied Universal protocols.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the property, including business areas and the perimeter, to help to deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor entrances, exits, and other sensitive areas to help to deter unauthorized access and maintain a visible Allied Universal presence.
• Document observations and report incidents, hazards, and/or suspicious activities to the appropriate Allied Universal personnel or site management.
• Assist with emergency response activities according to site protocols, which may include guiding guests and staff and coordinating with local authorities as needed.
• Support a welcoming environment for guests and staff consistent with the standards expected in hotels and resorts.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
