As a Security Officer - Utilities Patrol Watch in Columbus, OH, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Utilities, and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Security Officer with Allied Universal, you will monitor and patrol designated utility locations, helping to deter security-related incidents through regular patrols and a visible presence. You will interact with site personnel and visitors, providing outstanding customer service and clear communication. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, following site-specific policies, and responding appropriately to emergencies as required.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations at the location in a calm, problem-solving manner.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the facility and its perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity. Working environments and conditions may vary by location.
• Observe for unusual activity and report findings in accordance with Allied Universal and site-specific protocols.
• Assist visitors, employees, and/or contractors by providing information and guidance as needed while maintaining a visible presence.
• Document security-related incidents and maintain accurate daily activity reports as required by site procedures.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
