Security Officer - Distribution Patrol

As a Security Officer - Distribution Patrol in Plain City, OH, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Logistics & Distribution, and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal, you will help to deter security-related incidents and maintain a secure environment within a logistics and distribution location. Your primary responsibilities include conducting regular patrols, remaining highly visible, and engaging with visitors and team members to provide outstanding customer service. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures in accordance with site-specific policies and protocols.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the logistics and distribution location, including the business and perimeter areas, to help to deter unauthorized activity.
• Assist visitors and personnel by offering directions and support as needed.
• Observe and report any unusual activity or potential security-related concerns to the appropriate parties.
• Follow emergency response protocols and assist with emergency situations when appropriate.
• Maintain a visible presence to help to deter potential disruptions within the logistics and distribution environment.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
