As a Security Officer - Patrol - Security Clearance in San Antonio, TX, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom, and more. As an unarmed patrol officer with Allied Universal, you will have the opportunity to monitor and patrol assigned locations within the dynamic tech, media, and telecom sector. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, following site-specific policies and responding to emergency situations as appropriate.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols throughout the technology and media location and its perimeter, adapting to the varying environments and conditions present at the site.
• Document and report any unusual activity, security-related concerns, or incidents occurring during patrols.
• Assist with access control duties by monitoring entrances and verifying credentials as required by site procedures.
• Support security-related operations by remaining observant to help to deter unauthorized activity within the premises.
• Communicate promptly with Allied Universal and site management regarding incidents or potential concerns encountered during assigned shifts.

Minimum Requirements:

• An active Department of Defense Secret Clearance is required.
• A state, county, or city issued security license is preferred.
• CPR and First Aid certification is preferred.
• Experience using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
