We are seeking an experienced Senior Food Technologist with a passion for developing authentic and innovative Asian frozen food products. This role is responsible for creating and improving recipes, supporting product commercialization, and ensuring manufacturing quality standards are met. Working closely with the Director of Operations, you will play a key role in driving product innovation and supporting the company's growth initiatives. Key Responsibilities Collaborate with Sales & Marketing teams to support new product development and recipe reformulation initiatives. Partner with the Director of Operations to create sample products in the test kitchen. Organize and lead regular product tastings, gather feedback, and refine recipes as needed. Evaluate new raw materials and ingredients, providing timely feedback to the purchasing team. Work with the R&D Manager to prepare product specifications, formulas, technical reports, and test run plans. Support the QA team to ensure product and packaging quality meets design expectations and troubleshoot as needed. Collaborate with Production to ensure technical requirements are met throughout manufacturing. Stay current on market developments and industry trends to drive innovation. Perform other related duties as assigned. Qualifications Bachelor's Degree in Food Science, Food Engineering, or a related field required. Culinary or chef experience is highly preferred. 3-5 years of R&D experience, ideally within a USDA-regulated frozen food manufacturing environment. Proven track record in recipe development and/or renovation. Experience with Asian frozen foods and familiarity with related ingredients and preparation techniques. Strong knowledge of local raw materials and ingredients. Familiarity with USDA, FDA, CFR, and other relevant food safety regulations. Excellent problem-solving, teamwork, and communication skills.
