As a Security Officer - CRE Front Desk Entry in Financial District, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Commercial Real Estate, and more. As a Front Desk Security Officer in a commercial real estate location, you will be the first point of contact, welcoming visitors and assisting tenants while helping to deter security-related incidents through attentive presence and access control. You will utilize your customer service skills, support building operations, and leverage technology to manage guest and employee entry. What You'll Do:

• Provide outstanding customer service to building tenants and visitors while following security-related procedures and site-specific policies at the front desk.
• Monitor access to the premises by verifying identification and credentials, helping to deter unauthorized entry in a commercial real estate location.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations at the front desk in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established protocols.
• Assist with visitor management, including logging guests and issuing access credentials as required by site procedures.
• Communicate professionally with building management, tenants, and/or visitors regarding inquiries, directions, or concerns related to security-related matters.
• Work collaboratively with Allied Universal team members and on-site personnel to address routine and emergency situations as they arise.
• Maintain accurate records of daily activities, incidents, and/or visitor logs according to company and site requirements.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid New York State Security Guard License is required.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• X-ray screening experience is preferred.
• Access control or badge experience is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
