What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, following site-specific policies, and, when appropriate, responding to emergency situations.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, maintaining professionalism at all times.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the location and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or suspicious behavior.
• Observe and report any irregularities, such as equipment or property damage, presence of unauthorized persons, or unusual occurrences.
• Communicate promptly with Allied Universal management and/or client representatives regarding security-related matters as required.
• Complete daily reports and maintain detailed records of all activities and incidents encountered during assigned shift.
• Collaborate with team members to help to maintain a secure environment for all personnel, visitors, and property within the location.
• Remain alert and attentive to changing conditions and/or potential security-related risks in a technology-focused environment.

Minimum Requirements:

• Experience using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Experience with alarm panels is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• CPR certification is preferred.
• Experience with access control or badge systems is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
