As a Security Officer - Healthcare Campus Patrols in New York, NY, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Healthcare, and more. As a Patrol Unarmed officer with Allied Universal, you will monitor and patrol designated areas within a dynamic healthcare location, helping to deter security-related incidents and promoting a welcoming atmosphere. Your presence and attention to detail will contribute to a secure environment for patients, visitors, and staff. You will conduct routine patrols, remain highly visible, and deliver outstanding customer service while fostering positive interactions throughout the facility. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients, staff, and visitors within a healthcare environment by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner in a healthcare setting.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the healthcare facility and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and observe for unusual circumstances.
• Monitor entry and exit points to help to deter unauthorized access and promote a secure environment for patients, staff, and visitors.
• Document and report any security-related incidents, hazards, or unusual occurrences according to site-specific protocols.
• Collaborate with healthcare staff and local authorities as necessary to address incidents and/or emergencies.
• Remain alert and observant while performing patrols to help to deter theft, disturbances, and/or hazards specific to a healthcare location.

Minimum Requirements:

• Applicants must be at least 21 years of age.
• CPR certification is preferred.
• Access control and/or badge experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
