Job Description




As a Security Professional - Armed Patrol Driver Healthcare in Decatur, GA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Healthcare, and more. As a Patrol Armed Officer at a healthcare location, you will monitor and patrol designated areas to help maintain a secure environment for everyone on site. This armed and driving role involves conducting routine patrols, maintaining visibility to help deter security-related incidents, and delivering outstanding customer service while communicating clearly with staff and visitors. What You'll Do:

  • Provide customer service by following security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and responding to emergency situations as needed.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, utilizing training and judgment to address situations appropriately.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the healthcare location and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and monitor for unusual circumstances.
  • Monitor entrances, exits, and sensitive areas to help to deter unauthorized access and maintain a secure environment.
  • Communicate professionally with staff, visitors, and/or patients to address questions and provide assistance as required.
  • Document incidents and observations accurately according to Allied Universal protocols and site-specific requirements.
  • Collaborate with emergency services and law enforcement when necessary to support incident response and resolution.

Minimum Requirements:

  • A valid driver's license is required in the state where the job is located.
  • Have at least 3 years of combined law enforcement, military, or adult corrections experience.
  • Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Participate in industry-specific security-related training programs.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
