As a Security Professional - Chemical Gate Monitor in Point Comfort, TX, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Chemical/Petrochemical, and more. As an Access Control Officer with Allied Universal in a chemical and petrochemical location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, helping to deter security-related incidents while maintaining a visible presence. Your role involves conducting routine patrols, managing access points, and interacting with personnel and visitors to provide exceptional customer service. What You'll Do:

• Monitor and control access to the location by verifying identification and credentials of individuals entering and exiting the premises.
• Provide customer service by offering assistance and information to employees, visitors, and contractors at entry points.
• Follow site-specific security-related procedures and protocols, including those related to chemical and petrochemical environments.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following Allied Universal and site guidelines.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the facility and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activities and identify security-related concerns.
• Document all security-related incidents, observations, and activities according to company and client protocols.
• Operate access control systems, surveillance cameras, and other security-related equipment as required by the location's needs.
• Assist in emergency response activities and coordinate with site personnel according to established procedures.

Minimum Requirements:

• A Transportation Worker Identification Credential issued by TSA is required.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• A state, county, or city issued security license is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
