As a Security Guard - Financial Facility Unarmed Patrol in South Richmond Hill, NY, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Financial Institutions, and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer in a financial institution location, you will monitor and patrol designated areas, remaining highly visible to help deter security-related incidents while providing outstanding customer service to all visitors and staff. You will conduct routine patrols, respond to security-related situations, and utilize your communication skills to deliver a positive experience. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures and following site-specific policies, responding to emergencies as needed.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner to support a secure environment for staff and visitors.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the financial institution and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activities and observe any unusual circumstances.
• Assist with access control by monitoring entrances and exits, verifying identification, and reporting any suspicious behavior.
• Maintain accurate records and write detailed reports on incidents, observations, and activities during the shift.
• Work closely with client staff and visitors to provide guidance and assistance as required, while representing Allied Universal in a professional manner at all times.

Minimum Requirements:

• Supervisory experience is required.
• A guard card or license is preferred.
• Experience in customer service is preferred.
• Being comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
