As a Security Officer - X-Ray Screener in Colorado Springs, CO, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom, and more. As a Screener in a dynamic tech and media environment, you will help to deter security-related incidents by monitoring access points, conducting badge checks, and performing screening procedures to maintain a secure atmosphere. What You'll Do:

• Provide excellent customer service by following security-related procedures and site-specific policies, as well as responding appropriately to emergency situations.
• Screen individuals entering the location, verifying credentials and access permissions according to site protocols.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established guidelines from Allied Universal and the client site.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the location and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify potential security-related issues.
• Document incidents, observations, and activities clearly and accurately in daily reports and logs, maintaining confidentiality as required.
• Communicate professionally with visitors, employees, and/or vendors to address security-related inquiries or concerns.
• Collaborate with fellow Allied Universal team members and site representatives to support a secure and welcoming environment within a technology-focused setting.

Minimum Requirements:

• Access control or badge experience is preferred.
• Experience with x-ray screening is preferred.
• State, county, or city issued security-related license is preferred.
• CPR certification is preferred.
• CPR and/or first aid certification is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
