Grinder Operator

Are you mechanically inclined, comfortable in an industrial setting, and eager to learn a skilled trade? Join a team that values precision, reliability, and hands-on work. Staffmark is looking for a Grinder Operator to support roll grinding operations in a manufacturing environment.

Pay: Starting at $17/hour (Depending on experience)

Shifts: Must be available for either day or night shift (set schedule to be discussed)

What You'll Do:

• Set up and operate grinder machines for roll finishing
• Use overhead cranes and proper rigging techniques to load/unload rolls
• Follow grinding procedures using CNC controls and multiple grit belts
• Inspect rolls for quality-check diameter, hardness, crown, and alignment
• Maintain accurate documentation and keep equipment clean and in working order
• Stage next jobs and assist with basic machine maintenance as needed

What You'll Need:

• Mechanically inclined with strong attention to detail
• Ability to read a tape measure and use precision measuring tools
• Experience in a similar industrial or manufacturing environment preferred
• Able to lift up to 50 lbs and work overtime as needed
