Every shop needs someone to run the machines - and that's where you come in. As a Laser Machine Operator, you'll keep production rolling while cashing steady paychecks. Bring to the Table: Diploma or GED 2 years of experience in the steel manufacturing industry Sharp eye to keep quality solid Stamina to lift and stand through the shift Team player who shows up and works safe Key Responsibilities: Measure, load, and unload metal materials for laser cutting operations. Set up and maintain laser equipment, including cleaning lenses, aligning nozzles, and adjusting parameters for quality cuts. Operate forklifts, overhead cranes, and other warehouse equipment as needed. Read blueprints or digital files and verify part accuracy using measuring tools. Complete production, inspection, and material handling paperwork accurately. Perform routine maintenance, clean the work area, and ensure a safe, organized workspace.
