Additional Responsibilities:
Knowledge and Skill: Five plus years in managing and leading diverse maintenance activities Have completed a four-year degree from a credited college. Be very knowledgeable and have the vision and ability to implement World Class Maintenance Thorough understanding of both Preventative and Autonomous Maintenance and machine classifications. Be proficient in maintenance troubleshooting in mechanical, electrical, PLC, pneumatic and hydraulic knowledge. Ability to build a strong and dedicated maintenance team by managing leading, training and motivating people. Be very knowledgeable in maintenance and Lock Out Tag Out standards. Have extensive experience in developing and meeting yearly business budgets. Have extensive experience in planning and tracking PM's, work tickets and unplanned work (EWO's). Extensive experience in reviewing and selecting the best equipment for the manufacturing need to meet OEE, MTBF, MTTR and MTTr requirements. Experience in Spare Parts Management to ensure equipment and facility requirements are met. Experience in Condition Based Maintenance, thermography, vibration analysis and oil sampling. Experience in developing apprenticeship training programs and ability to recruit maintenance talent. Excellent verbal and written communication skills and be able to present to highest levels of the company. Must be able to perform each essential function and responsibility of the job satisfactorily in accordance with company productivity and quality requirements. Communication Skill:
Physical Requirements: Standing 50 - 80% of the time. Walking 15 - 37% of the time. Sitting 13 - 25% of the time. Reaching, pushing, pulling 6 - 13% of the time. Arm, wrist, hand, finger movement 13 - 25% of the time. Bending and twisting neck and trunk 3 - 6% of the time. Climbing and balancing on ladders and scaffolding 3 - 6% of the time. Ability to verbally communicate. Hearing requirements include the ability to hear all verbal communication. Regularly lifting and/or moving up to 10 pounds and lifting and/or moving up to 50 pounds occasionally. Any weight over 50 pounds requires additional personnel or lifting equipment. Specific vision abilities include close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus. Vision requirement 20/40 distance (with or without correction) visual acuity distance using Snellin Method Guidelines and Purdue Job Standards. Mental Requirements: Analyzing Knowing Deciding Interpreting Judging Differentiating Identifying Problem solving Reasoning Recalling Understanding Troubleshooting Tools and Equipment Used: Computer Micrometer Calipers Wrenches Truck Forklift Crane Phone Calculator Drill Grinder Presses Saws Scale Machinery & Millwright handbooks Reference materials (catalogs, technical manuals) Impact on Organization Success: Directing of people, keeping production running, organizing construction activities, repairing buildings, keeping machines and equipment running so production staff can do their job, maintaining electrical integrity of all facilities to ensure all office personnel have access to their computers, maintaining accurate inventory at reasonable levels. Additional Information: Supervise up to three shifts of maintenance staff and be accessible by cell phone all hours of the day or night from maintenance employees and security to respond to any issues. Travel to other cities to gather information and inspect equipment.
