Position Overview
| Primary Purpose of Position |
The primary purpose of this position is to direct the collection, management, and analysis of data collected within the University Career Center and related university departments. A key initiative for this position is the First Destination Survey, an annual report that provides a deep understanding of post-graduation career trajectories of students. Position analyzes data for accuracy, validity and integrity and generates reports based on the data to be used by the Career Center, Academic Affairs, and shared with campus partners across the university. This position creates a plan of action in conjunction with the Career Development Team and Employer Relations Team to streamline data collection from presentations, resources, and services. Develops and implements strategies and procedures to collect relevant data on the "career experience" of students at the university by college and department, as well as other factors. Analyzes data/information for accuracy, validity and integrity. Maintains quality control and assurance. Interprets and evaluates results. Prepares reports and/or presentations; creates databases. Prepares dashboards visualizations to communicate insights to leadership and stakeholders. Collect, clean, and manage data from multiple sources (e.g., Handshake,
NACE First-Destination Survey, Qualtrics, Steppingblocks).

OCS) provides innovative programming, services, and resources to assist the University's 15,000+ undergraduate and graduate students and recent alumni in launching their careers. Career Services is customer-focused and centralizes the functions of career development/counseling, full-time employment, on-campus student employment, summer internships, cooperative education, and part-time employment. |
