Housing Specialist II or III

You'll be the go-to pro for processing applications, verifying participant status, preparing documents, and keeping everything HUD-compliant. If you know your way around eligibility, leasing, re-certifications, portability, rent adjustments, and terminations-and love keeping data accurate and organized-you'll fit right in. Experience with Project-Based Voucher (PBV) or Housing Choice Voucher (HCV) programs is a big plus.

• Review applications, verifications, and documents for accuracy.

• Determine program eligibility and maintain up-to-date participant files.

• Provide top-notch customer service to participants, owners, applicants, and the public.

• Enter and maintain data accurately in program systems.

• Coordinate with supervisors, managers, inspectors, and other team members.

• Handle all personally identifiable information (PII) with strict confidentiality.

• Ensure all work complies with HUD regulations and nondiscrimination policies.

• Housing Choice Voucher Specialist certification required.

• Experience with PBV or HCV programs highly preferred.

• 3-4 years in customer-facing roles, housing, or similar environments.

• Strong analytical, organizational, and data management skills.

• Comfortable managing multiple priorities in a high-volume environment.

• Solid computer skills.

• Typical office environment; occasional standing, walking, or lifting up to 50 lbs.

• Frequent computer work, talking, and hearing required.
