Grinder Operator

Staffmark is seeking a skilled Grinder Operator to join a growing production team in Manor, TX. This is a great opportunity for someone with mechanical aptitude who enjoys hands-on work in a cleanroom manufacturing environment. Pay Rate: $15-$21/hour

Shifts Available:

• 1st Shift: 6:00 AM - 2:30 PM (Monday-Friday)

What You'll Do:

• Set up and operate grinding machines and select appropriate grinding wheels
• Remove excess coating from parts while minimizing taper, chatter, and other defects
• Inspect parts for quality and accuracy throughout the process
• Document work, update part trackers, and route completed parts to the next department
• Perform daily maintenance on tools and equipment
• Maintain a clean and safe work area and follow all safety protocols
• Support team with additional duties as needed

Requirements & Qualifications:

• 1+ year of experience using hand/belt grinders in a manufacturing setting
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and written instructions
• Familiar with hand tools, power tools, and bench tools
• Experience grinding to specific tolerances preferred
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Comfortable working around machinery in a fast-paced environment
