Position: Entry-Level Housing Specialist

As a Housing Specialist, you'll help keep housing programs running smoothly. No experience? No problem-we'll train you! In this role, you'll:

  • Assist with applications and verify participant eligibility.

  • Support annual recertifications and other updates.

  • Organize participant files and maintain accurate records.

  • Enter data into housing systems and ensure accuracy.

  • Collaborate with team members to keep operations efficient and compliant with HUD regulations.

You'll gain hands-on experience, learn industry best practices, and work toward earning your Housing Choice Voucher Specialist certification within your first year.

What You'll Learn & Do
  • Process applications and verify documents.

  • Provide friendly, professional support to participants, property owners, and the public.

  • Protect sensitive participant information (PII).

  • Support your team to ensure all programs follow HUD rules and nondiscrimination policies.

  • Get exposure to Housing Choice Voucher programs and federal housing regulations.

What You Bring
  • High school diploma or equivalent.

  • Eagerness to learn and grow in a professional setting.

  • Basic computer skills and willingness to learn new software.

  • Organized, detail-oriented, and dependable.

  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.

Contractor & Compliance Requirements

Quadel is a contractor on federal government contracts and must comply with the Drug-Free Workplace Act of 1988 and all applicable federal regulations regarding alcohol and drug use. Candidates offered employment must successfully complete a pre-employment drug screening.

Additionally, Quadel may be required to comply with alcohol and/or drug policies and testing requirements specified in contracts with federal agencies or partner organizations. All employees must follow these requirements as a condition of employment.

Work Environment & Physical Demands
  • Typical office environment; moderate noise levels.

  • Occasionally required to stand, walk, lift, or carry items up to 50 pounds.

  • Frequent use of hands, fingers, and visual acuity to operate computers and other office equipment.
