Software Engineering Intern Summer 2026

As a Software Engineering intern, you will support projects for applications built upon the Windows platform to support innovative solutions created for the commercial nuclear sector of the energy market.

You will report to the Ovation Plant Computer Manager and be located at our Cranberry location. This is a paid full-time hybrid summer position.

• Be an entry level in design development, coding, testing, and debugging new and legacy applications
• Maintain software code quality through unit testing and solid documentation
• Work with other internal groups on similar level to obtain information necessary to perform work assignments
• Plan and schedule work to meet assignment requirements

• Pursuing a bachelor's degree in computer science or information science
• Minimum GPA of 3.0
• Completed Sophomore year of college
• Knowledge using C/C++, Java, Python and other programing languages
• No relocation assistance provided

We are committed to transparency and equity in all of our people practices. The hourly rate for this position, which is dependent upon experience, qualifications and skills, is estimated to be $22.69 to $27.50 per hour.
