Local shops come to us to find machinists who still give a damn and take pride in their work. Your Role: Set up, run, and fine-tune machines without babysitting. Keep tolerances tight and problems small. Own your station and own your shift. "They matched me with a great job in a couple of days and I was hired on permanently." - CNC Machinist, Louisville, KY Responsibilities: Expertly set up and run machines and perform daily care/maintenance Complete First Article Inspections per blueprint specifications and tolerances Use your own tools and standard inspection equipment (calipers, micrometers, gauges, etc.) Keep the work area clean, organized, and safe Perform routine equipment maintenance Follow all safety guidelines at all times Requirements: 3+ years of direct experience Must have own tools (calipers, micrometers, dial indicators, parallels, etc.) Must be able to perform own part and tool setups Familiar with the listed equipment and controls Ability to lift 50 pounds Experience with any brand of manual lathe is strongly recommended Join a Team That Works for You At Staffmark, we're more than just a staffing company-we're your career partner.
