Collections Representative

Are you a motivated communicator ready to make an impact? Staffmark is seeking a dedicated Collection Representative to join our team in Newark, DE. If you thrive in a fast-paced environment, enjoy problem-solving, and have a passion for helping clients resolve accounts, this could be the perfect opportunity for you!

Pay: $16/hr.

Shifts:

• Days: 8 AM - 5 PM
• Nights: 12 PM - 9 PM (at least two nights per week)
• Saturdays: Up to every other Saturday from 8 AM - 12 PM

Essential Functions:

• Achieve department standards and goals by contacting clients and collecting on debtor accounts.
• Work the minimum number of accounts per hour as set by management.
• Set up payment arrangements with debtors and follow up on those arrangements.
• Follow up on accounts until they are paid, settled, cured from delinquency, or deemed uncollectible.
• Perform skip tracing tasks.
• Maintain accurate records and documentation of account activity.
• Adhere to all FDCPA regulations.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Good organizational skills
• Ability to work independently under pressure and meet deadlines
• Goal-oriented and motivated
• Experience in agency or bank recovery preferred but not required
• Telemarketing or customer service experience is a plus
• Knowledge of FDCPA, credit bureau reports, and computer skills helpful
