Hours & Pay

Schedule: Monday - Friday (with routine on-call, after-hours, holiday, and weekend support as needed)

Pay Rate: $23.40 - $34.40 per hour, based on experience

What You'll Do

As a Service Technician, you'll take on meaningful work that supports Hobart's commitment to quality service:



  • Install, maintain, and repair basic mechanical commercial food equipment.
  • Assist with advanced installations as you gain experience.
  • Complete and document preventative maintenance on equipment.
  • Diagnose issues and deliver efficient, high-quality repairs.
  • Follow all safety protocols and Hobart Service procedures.
  • Maintain assigned company assets, including vehicles, tools, and inventory.
  • Provide professional, customer-focused service to build trust and long-term relationships.
  • Stay current with industry knowledge and Hobart products.

What We're Looking For



  • Education: High school diploma or GED required; Associate's Degree or Vocational Certificate preferred.
  • Experience: 1-3 years of mechanical/electrical experience required; experience with commercial cooking or refrigeration equipment is a plus.
  • Skills: Mechanical aptitude, troubleshooting ability, strong customer service skills, problem-solving mindset, and attention to safety.
  • Technical Knowledge: Ability to read service manuals and diagrams, use tools and gauges, apply basic math, and work with Microsoft Office applications.
