Staffmark is hiring a skilled Senior Machine Operator for a position in Commerce, CA. Pay \| $22 per hour Schedules Available \| 1st shift and 2nd shift Key Responsibilities: Set up, operate, and adjust production equipment to meet product specifications and ensure consistent quality. Monitor machinery and product output, troubleshooting issues and maintaining efficient operation. Follow recipes, batch instructions, and record production data accurately. Perform regular quality checks, report deviations, and assist in implementing corrective actions. Maintain compliance with USDA food safety and company safety standards. Collaborate with maintenance, quality, and production teams to support daily goals and process improvements. Propose and assist with efficiency improvements and production reporting. Train and guide new operators to ensure team success. Qualifications: High school diploma or equivalent required. Previous experience in a production or manufacturing environment (food industry preferred). Knowledge of USDA food safety standards and California state regulations. Basic mechanical aptitude and ability to operate production machinery. Strong attention to detail, problem-solving, and troubleshooting skills. Effective communication and teamwork abilities. Computer proficiency, including Microsoft Office; bilingual (English/Spanish) preferred.
