Position Overview

The Principal HCP Marketing Director is responsible for product marketing oversight and strategic and tactical development for on-market products in the Screening Business Unit and serves in an advisory role for Women's Health products in the upstream pipeline. This US-based role develops and executes Health Care Provider (HCP)-facing tactics and materials, non-personal and personal, that build product trust and adoption with OBGYNs and other Women's Health primary care prescribers. Examples include, but are not limited to, peer-to-peer (product theaters, virtual, in-person), digital promotional channels, and sales materials. This role supports and advances Women's Health marketing initiatives at sales meetings, working closely with sales training and operations.

The Principal HCP Marketing Director oversees key Women's Health marketing programs and reports directly to the Director, HCP Personal Promotion Marketing & HCP for Screening Marketing.

Essential Duties

Include, but are not limited to, the following:

  • Serve as key contributor to the development of the operational and tactical annual plan.
  • Develop assets in the Veeva digital platform.
  • Develop key healthcare professional marketing pieces in line with the tactical plan for Women's Health.
  • Evolve the Women's Health promotional campaign and messaging.
  • Understand emerging trends in Women's Health.
  • In partnership with other supporting functions, develop relationships with Key Opinion Leaders in Women's Health, gaining insights that better inform our commercialization efforts with Women's Health practitioners.
  • Ensure integration of Women's Health within the Exact Sciences' portfolio strategic imperatives, and act as a Women's Health Subject Matter Expert to drive relevant segment growth within existing commercial infrastructure.
  • Contribute to the development of the Women's Health commercialization strategy.
  • Partner with Medical, Sales, Research, and others to grow the Women's Health business opportunity.
  • Analyze qualitative and quantitative data to continually gain a deeper understanding of the market and customer needs.
  • Provide day-to-day oversight of external agency partners and manage the budget.
  • Collaborate with the Commercial Analytics team to ensure appropriate analytical plans are developed and measure promotional program effectiveness, efficiency, and ROI.
  • Uphold company mission and values through accountability, innovation, integrity, quality, and teamwork.
  • Support and comply with the company's Quality Management System policies and procedures.
  • Maintain regular and reliable attendance.
  • Ability to act with an inclusion mindset and model these behaviors for the organization.
  • Ability to work on a mobile device, tablet, or in front of a computer screen and/or perform typing for approximately 80% of a typical working day.
  • Ability to travel 20% of working time away from work location, may include overnight/weekend travel.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Sales, Marketing, Scientific, or related field.
  • 10+ years of progressive experience in business, sales, marketing, scientific, or other related field to include experience within biotechnology, medical device, or pharmaceutical spaces.
  • 2+ years of experience within the Women's Health segment in Oncology, Pharma, and/or Medical Device industries.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office products, including Word, Excel, and Outlook.
  • Legal authorization to work in the country of employment without current or future sponsorship.
  • Demonstrated ability to perform the Essential Duties of the position with or without accommodation.

Preferred Qualifications

  • 2+ years in a healthcare marketing role, preferably HCP.
  • Experience and/or understanding of the primary care channel and customer segment.

Salary Range:

$133,000.00 - $226,000.00

The annual base salary shown is for this position located in US - WI - Madison on a full-time basis. In addition, this position is bonus eligible.
