**Data Center Technical Project Manager / Onsite Required, Ellendale, ND / (6-12 Month Contract)** Work Requirement: This PM will be required to work onsite. On-site presence required, 5 days/week, 8am-4pm, potentially weekends (as needed). A possibility would also be to do 3 weeks on and 1 week off. Work Environment * Brand new build - currently building doing deployment work in building 1, building 2 is under construction, building 3 is just breaking ground Ideal Candidate: The ideal candidate is someone that started as a Data Center Technician and worked their way up through the data center and really understands the white space of the data center. Top Required Skills * Must be able to sit onsite 5 days per week. * Extensive experience with Data Center deployments, ideally someone who has a very good understanding of data center construction, power, cooling, etc. prior to the fit out of the data center deployment. * Experience with the fit out of a data center - Making an empty building ready to house and operate IT equipment - installing systems, power, cooling, networking, etc. * Understands the "white space" of the data center * Understanding/experience with greenfield data centers, equipment that goes into data centers, floor, storage, space, office space, help plan and organize the deployment of the entire data center before handing over to operations. * Tools/Technologies Required: Asana, Slack, Jira, Smartsheet * Must have experience working in this type of environment - Fast paced, ambiguity, flexible, embrace change (extremely important!!) Collaboration: * Cross-functional work with construction partners, internal teams, vendors, and C-suite * Direct vendor management and coordination Core Responsibilities: * Oversee and manage data center deployment from construction through fit-out to operational handoff * Focus on "white space" (interior data hall) buildout, including power, cooling, and equipment installation * Plan and organize deployment, including storage, office, and floor space * Directly manage vendors and coordinate with internal and external teams * Provide regular reports and maintain consistent on-site presence Required Experience & Skills: * Strong experience in data center construction and deployment, especially Greenfield projects * Experience with data center power, cooling, and fit-out (liquid cooling experience a plus, but not required) * Familiarity with large-scale or hyperscale data centers preferred; AI data center experience is ideal * Ability to manage up, down, and across multiple teams and stakeholders * Hands-on project management experience; DCT (Data Center Technician) experience highly valued * Comfortable working in fast-paced, ambiguous environments with frequent change Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $70.00 - $80.00/hr.
