Description

This role supports the Head of Department in managing facilities operations, contracts, and compliance standards. The Facilities Manager ensures the workplace is safe, efficient, and well maintained while providing consistent, high-quality service standards that meet the needs of employees, visitors, and stakeholders.

What you'll do:



  • Facilities Operations & Vendor Management:

    • Oversee day-to-day building operations and landlord services
    • Negotiate, manage, and evaluate vendor and service contracts (cleaning, maintenance, security, HVAC, etc.)
    • Ensure compliance with building regulations and industry best practices
    • Monitor performance metrics and conduct regular service reviews
    • Develop strategies for service improvements and cost efficiency


  • Team Leadership & Stakeholder Engagement:

    • Supervises and develops facilities staff, providing training and performance evaluations
    • Build and maintain strong relationships with internal stakeholders, senior management, landlords, and contractors
    • Provides exceptional customer service and communication across the business


  • Senior member of Health and Safety team
  • Act as Warden or deputy Warden functions
  • Contribute to overall policy development and implementation


What you'll bring:



  • 5+ years of prior experience in facilities management
  • Negotiation, analysis, and prioritization skills
  • Strong writing skills
  • Excellent telephone skills & verbal communications
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office applications
  • Knowledge of property management


This role will have an annual salary of $75k - $80k.
