Genesis10 is seeking a Manufacturing Engineer Associate for a 12-month contract position with a leading manufacturing company located in Oshkosh, WI. This role is 100% onsite.

Compensation: $20.00 - 25.00 per hour, W2.

Summary:


Genesis10 is currently seeking a qualified candidate for an Associate Manufacturing Engineer who will design new, modified, or improved components and process tooling in accordance with engineering standards and project scope. This entry-level role within the operations engineering organization provides hands-on experience and support for various manufacturing processes.

Responsibilities:


  • Perform basic engineering calculations, investigations, and tasks under close supervision, following established engineering standards and processes.
  • Support senior engineers in preparing plans, designs, computation methods, and reports.
  • Work on projects of limited complexity in a support capacity.
  • Prepare vehicle layouts and component part drawings with supporting calculations (e.g., weight distribution).
  • Select parts and/or design components focused on cost efficiency and quality.
  • Assist during assembly floor or prototype build activities as directed by a supervisor.
  • Generate bills of material and assembly drawings as required by the project.
  • Adhere to time schedules and utilize CAD tools in assigned projects.


Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Operations, Engineering, or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Ability to create drawings and perform tolerance stack-up analysis.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Familiarity with CAD modeling software.
  • Understanding of mechanical design principles.
  • Ability to apply material science within design.


Preferred:

  • Experience creating tools, jigs, and fixtures for manufacturing.
  • Experience with CATIA.
  • Familiarity with manufacturing processes and equipment.
  • Internship or experience in an engineering/manufacturing environment.
  • Knowledge of Lean and/or Six Sigma tools.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel.


Only candidates available and ready to work directly as Genesis10 employees will be considered for this position.

Able to work as a W2 employee of Genesis10 (no corp-to-corp).
