Class A Driver

Staffmark Drivers is seeking new talent in Spartanburg, SC, and hiring an experienced Class A Driver to join our team. This role offers a great work-life balance with a consistent schedule and the chance to work local routes, getting home daily.

Pay: $24 per hour with overtime after 40 hours

Schedule: 5:00 AM - 2:00 or 3:00 PM, Monday through Friday

Job Details:

• Local yard switcher position
• Operate Class A switcher trucks
• Handle general freight in a no-touch freight role
• No lifting requirements
• Equipment used: Class A switcher truck

Job Duties:

• Perform vehicle safety inspections before, during, and after dispatch
• Maintain vehicle cleanliness and report maintenance issues
• Represent the company professionally
• Read and interpret shipping orders and exception forms
• Be available as scheduled to meet delivery requirements

Required Qualifications:

• Valid DOT Medical Card
• Valid Class A Driver's License
• No more than 3 moving violations or accidents in the past 3 years
• Clear FMCSA Clearinghouse report
• Acceptable MVR and ability to pass pre-employment screenings
• Minimum 1 year verifiable driving experience within the last 3 years
