Acara Solutions is seeking highly qualified candidates to work hybrid with our client in Indianapolis, IN. Interested?

Here's what you'd do:

• Develop and deliver engineering solutions for gas turbine systems/sub-systems, including design definition, requirements capture, trade-off studies, and optimisation.
• Perform analyses (mechanical, thermal, lifing, vibration, durability) to substantiate component and system integrity, performance, and lifecycle.
• Create and manage detailed design definitions such as CAD models, drawings (or model-based definitions), Dimensional tolerance stacks, and GD&T.
• Support manufacturing, supply chain, and service activities: review supplier documentation, assess non-conforming hardware, manage change proposals, support production or field operations.
• Investigate in-service or development hardware issues (failure analysis, root cause, corrective action), and feed learnings into design improvements.
• Collaborate across disciplines (systems, aerothermal, materials, manufacturing, testing) and present, defend, and manage design solutions to leadership/stakeholders.
• Ensure compliance with applicable engineering standards, safety regulations, and best practices (for example, aerospace, defence, or industrial GT contexts)

• Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering or Aerospace Engineering
• Minimum of 5 years of Gas Turbine Experience
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in Engineering/ Aerospace Designs
• Minimum of 5 years of mechanical/component design experience, preferably in gear systems, rotating equipment, or aerospace applications.
