OVERVIEW OF THE COMPANYFox TV Stations FOX Television Stations owns and operates 29 full power broadcast television stations in the U.S. These include stations located in 14 of the top 15 largest designated market areas, or DMAs, and duopolies in 11 DMAs, including the three largest DMAs (New York, Los Angeles and Chicago). Of these stations, 18 are affiliated with the FOX Network. In addition to distributing sports, entertainment and syndicated content, our television stations collectively produce approximately 1,200 hours of local news every week. Fox TV Stations is looking for a Contract Recruiter to join our talent team and support hiring across our dynamic News organization, with a focus on broadcast media , Digital and editorial roles. This recruiter will be instrumental in identifying, engaging, and hiring top talent for key positions such as Digital Journalist, (DJs), Executive Producers, and Editorial staff. This role requires a recruiter who understands the fast-paced nature of the news cycle, has a strong grasp of the broadcast landscape, and can effectively partner with both hiring managers and candidates to ensure a seamless hiring experience.

A SNAPSHOT OF YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Own full-cycle recruitment for high-impact roles in the news and broadcast space, including Digital Journalists, Executive Producers, Writers, and other editorial staff

  • Partner closely with hiring managers to understand talent needs and develop effective sourcing strategies

  • Source, engage, and assess candidates with strong backgrounds in News, Digital and Broadcast Media

  • Drive a streamlined and high-touch experience for all candidates throughout the process

  • Maintain accurate documentation, pipelines, and reporting using Workday and other sourcing tools

  • Provide thoughtful and strategic counsel to hiring managers on market dynamics, talent availability, and competitive compensation

WHAT YOU WILL NEED

  • 3-5+ years of experience in recruitment, with a strong emphasis on hiring for news, media, and editorial roles

  • Experience with Workday ATS

  • Prior experience hiring for roles in broadcast journalism, including field producers, line producers, editorial leadership, etc

  • Comfortable in a deadline-driven, fast-moving environment that demands adaptability and urgency

  • Strong command of recruiting systems and workflows, particularly Workday and LinkedIn Recruiter

  • Ability to work independently, manage multiple reqs, and thrive in a fast-moving environment

  • Exceptional communication skills, stakeholder management, and attention to detail

Pursuant to state and local pay disclosure requirements, the pay rate/range for this role, with final offer amount dependent on education, skills, experience, and location is $50.00-65.00 per hour.
