Aquent has an exciting opportunity for a Pharmacy Technician in either Arizona or Texas!

If you are applying and live within a 50-mile radiius from our client's location in Tempe, AZ, then it would be expected for you to work on-site. Otherwise, this will be a fully remote position for those who are outside the 50-mile radius or in Texas.

To be considered for this role, you must:



  • Be authorized to work in the United States
  • Not require sponsorship of any kind for the duration of the assignment
  • Be able to work on a W-2 basis. C2C or 1099 is not permitted for this position
  • Have a current Pharmacy Technician's license in either Arizona or Texas and have a PTCB license

**About the Role:**

As a key contributor, you will play a crucial role in the preparation and distribution of critical drug products. You will be instrumental in ensuring the smooth flow of prescriptions, from initial entry to final distribution, directly impacting patient well-being and the efficiency of our healthcare services.

**What You Will Do:**

* Efficiently prepare and distribute prescription medications using advanced fulfillment systems.

* Accurately enter new prescription details for patients and manage prescription exceptions.

* Engage directly with physician offices and patients to clarify information and ensure smooth processing.

* Support backend operations including picking, packing, and manifesting to meet operational demands.

* Resolve complex prescription exceptions, addressing claim rejects and coordinating outreach to members and physicians.

* Input critical patient demographics and prescription data into our secure processing system.

* Investigate and resolve insurance billing discrepancies and escalated patient concerns.

* Collaborate with pharmacists, escalating complex prescription questions for expert interpretation and guidance.

* Provide exceptional service by assisting with inbound and outbound communications with patients and physicians.

* Deliver quality assurance support, including pharmacist callbacks, to maintain high standards of patient care.

* Manage imaging folders for new patients and referrals, ensuring accurate record-keeping.

* Load and update insurance plans and coordination of benefits for new patients and referrals.

* Participate in the review and auditing of test claims for new patient setups.

* Process reorders and manage email distribution as required.

* Perform essential administrative tasks such as image indexing and report filing.

* Offer primary support and specialized expertise for dedicated programs.

* Execute responsibilities for programs requiring special handling or supporting specific health conditions.

* Undertake additional registered and/or licensed responsibilities as required by operational needs.

**Must-Have:**

* High School diploma or equivalent.

* 2-4 years of proven experience in a pharmacy technician role.

* Current Pharmacy Registration and Certification as required by the state of operation.

* Basic computer proficiency.

The target hiring compensation range for this role is $18.50 to $21.50 an hour. Compensation is based on several factors including, but not limited to education, relevant work experience, relevant certifications, and location.
