The Position

The Opportunity

The Patient Navigator (PN) will act as a single point of contact to support patients in understanding their treatment journey, address clinical and non-clinical questions, identify and address barriers, provide resource referrals, and coordinate infusion treatment logistics on behalf of patient. The PN provides comprehensive and coordinated assistance to patients, and serves as a liaison between patients and their care providers (physicians, infusion center, etc.).

The Patient Navigator is an individual contributor who reports to the Patient Navigator Manager.

  • Consistently demonstrates empathy, patience, equity, and attention to detail when addressing issues, resulting in a positive impact on patient and customer experiences.

  • Achieves defined performance and quality metrics to support program goals effectively.

  • Maintains active participation in team meetings, check-ins, and side-by-sides on a mutually agreed-upon schedule with direct management.

  • Exhibits strong problem-solving, analytical, and investigational skills along with effective written and verbal communication abilities.

  • Works collaboratively within a team, responsibly delegates, demonstrates leadership, and drives results-oriented actions.

  • Displays attention to detail, multitasking proficiency, excellent organizational skills, and adherence to Standard Operating Procedures while managing time effectively under pressure.

  • Supports business needs by accommodating ad hoc in-office presence, conducting business travel, participating in cross-training, and transitioning to other roles or therapeutic areas as required.

Who you are:

  • Bachelor's degree is preferred.

  • 3 years of reimbursement experience preferred.

  • Knowledge of the managed care industry, including government payers.

  • Proficient in all aspects of reimbursement (i.e., benefit investigations, payer imbursement policies, regulatory and administrative rules).

  • Understands reimbursement/funding resources and how to access these resources.

Preferred:

  • Knowledge of healthcare systems, patient care pathways, and services; experience with MS is a plus.

Relocation benefits are not available for this job posting. Ideal candidate to live in Portland or within 50 miles of Portland. This role requires on-site presence. Multiple roles available.

The expected salary range for this position based on the primary location of Oregon is $70,200 - $130,400 USD Annual. Actual pay will be determined based on experience, qualifications, geographic location, and other job-related factors permitted by law. A discretionary annual bonus may be available based on individual and Company performance. This position also qualifies for the benefits detailed at the link provided below.
