Position: Brand Marketing Specialist
Location: Torrance, CA (onsite)
Hours: 9:00am - 6:00pm
Employment: Non-Exempt, Direct-Hire, Full-Time
OVERVIEW:

The Brand Marketing Specialist will be responsible for driving brand marketing initiatives and providing key support to the sales team in achieving revenue and strategic growth objectives.

The company owns a well-established, long-recognized consumer brand and is actively expanding its portfolio with additional brands in the consumer goods market. The ideal candidate will play a critical role in developing, coordinating, and executing impactful brand and product marketing programs that strengthen brand presence and support business growth.

Please note: This position is open only to candidates who are bilingual in Japanese or have prior experience working for a Japanese company.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE BUT NOT ARE LIMITED TO:
Digital Content Management: Plan, create, review, and approve content for social media platforms and the company website in collaboration with external agencies.
Digital Strategy & Analytics: Develop strategies to drive website traffic and online sales; analyze digital campaign performance and ROI.
Marketing & Sales Enablement: Plan and execute marketing initiatives tailored to each brand to support sales growth.
Creative Asset Development: Create and support the development of key brand visuals for use in advertising, promotions, and social media campaigns.
Sales Tool Creation: Partner closely with the sales team to design impactful presentations and sales collateral.
Retail & Merchandising Support: Design and produce Point-of-Purchase (POP) materials and other display tools for retail use.
Consumer Campaign Management: Plan and manage consumer campaigns, oversee the creation of promotional materials, and coordinate website updates with agency partners.
Public Relations Support: Assist in PR efforts, including trade shows, conferences, and media or public events.
Internal Collaboration: Participate in internal sales meetings to ensure marketing initiatives align with overall sales objectives.
QUALIFICATIONS
Minimum of 3 years of experience in marketing, sales, or a related business field.
Bilingual proficiency in Japanese, or prior experience working for a Japanese company, is required.
Proven experience in the creative development process and a solid understanding of digital marketing strategies and execution.
Ability to use Adobe Illustrator for basic design and creative needs.
Strong strategic thinking skills with the ability to align marketing initiatives with overall company growth objectives.
Bachelor's degree in Marketing or a related field preferred, but not required.
Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (PowerPoint, Excel, Word, Outlook, Teams).

The base pay range above represents the low and high end of the base compensation range we reasonably expect to pay for this position. Actual base compensation will vary and may be above or below the range based on various factors including, but not limited to, geographic location, actual experience, and job performance.
