Exact compensation may vary based on skills, experience and/or education, and location. This position is also eligible for an annual bonus.

Summary

The qualified candidate will be responsible for the input, activation and maintenance of Credit and Debit Cards. This position is also responsible for processing EFT Claims and Chargebacks. The incumbent must have excellent customer service skills and the ability to problem solve in an efficient and timely manner.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following.

  • Complies with and stays abreast of all policies and procedures, federal and state laws applicable to the job.
  • Provides phone support for transaction discrepancies, rejected cards, card status and record changes to internal and external customers.
  • Responsible for research and problem resolution in a timely and efficient manner.
  • Performs data entry for new card applications, replacement cards and record changes.
  • Activates new cards and orders personal identification numbers.
  • Statuses lost or stolen cards and performs appropriate research.
  • Maintains the security and confidentiality of cards and personal identification number relationships.
  • Maintains available card stock with plastics vendor.
  • Monitors Alert Bulletins and disseminates as needed.
  • Performs routine clerical duties such as photocopying and filing.
  • Processes EFT Claims and Chargebacks.
  • Provide, present and promote The Citizens Experience to all external and internal customers.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Education and/or Experience

One year certificate from college or technical school; or three to six months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Language Skills

Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos. Ability to write simple correspondence. Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to customers, clients, and other employees of the organization.

Mathematical Skills

Ability to add and subtract two digit numbers and to multiply and divide with 10's and 100's. Ability to perform these operations using units of American money and weight measurement, volume, and distance.

Reasoning Ability

Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed but uninvolved written or oral instructions. Ability to deal with problems involving a few concrete variables in standardized situations.

Computer Skills

To perform this job successfully, an individual should have knowledge of Spreadsheet software, Word Processing software and ITI knowledge. Excellent PC skills including experience with Premier II, Word and Excel is a must.
