This role will be full-time evening shift from Monday - Friday, 3:00pm - 11:30pm. Sign-on bonus and relocation assistance eligible. Diagnostic Imaging Technical Specialist Job Responsibilities:  
 
   
 - The Diagnostic Imaging Technical Specialist provides clinical services in multiple modalities, according to Imaging practice standards, with equal time spent in each modality, based on OU needs, while acting as a resource to Imaging Students and other technologists to ensure optimal department functions. 
 - Administers sound patient care practices according to hospital and department policies/procedures while ensuring the safety of patients. 
 - Communicates effectively with patients to obtain clinical history/informed consent to assist physicians in optimizing the performance and interpretation of examinations. 
 - Performs and documents routine quality control testing of equipment, as well as performs/recognizes the need for routine maintenance of imagers/processors to maintain consistent quality images, as evidenced by the physician and exam results.
 - Assists in the development, review, and implementation of policies/procedures.
 - Perform additional duties as assigned.
 
  
 
 
Minimum Qualifications: 
 
   
 - Education: Graduate of accredited school/program of radiography
 - Experience: 
 - Minimum of one year of imaging experience as a Radiologic Technologist in a hospital/healthcare environment. 
 - Must be able to perform in two or more modalities with at least even amount of time spent rotating in each annually based on needs. CT Cross Training.
 - Certification: 
  
  
     
   - ARRT registered as a Radiologic Technologist upon start
 - Must obtain advanced certification in applicable modality within one year of training
